Numerously-nominated singer and media personality Queen Naija recently released a second single that has awakened the holy spirit in many. In the song "Missing You," which features musician and worship leader Chandler Moore, Queen tributes her late bodyguard Beast, who fans may remember from the singer's YouTube channel.

"Inspired by someone dear to me who passed away...not just a security guard, but a big brother, this one is for all the people we lost," the "Pack Lite" singer said via Instagram.

A look at the comment section for the song will show a plethora of people saying the record gave them chills, made them emotional, and the need for Queen to release a gospel album.

Contemporary R&B lovers are sure to recognize the sample of Nivea's beloved single "Complicated." The new tune was written by Queen Naija, Damon Thomas, Babyface, Nivea Hamilton, The-Dream, Mike Woods, G. Ry & OG Parker.

The record was produced by Mike Woods (he produced Queen Naija's single with Big Sean "Hate Our Love" as well as Bazzi's "Mine," and Kiana Ledé etc.); G. Ry (Drake, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Kehlani, and Summer Walker, etc.) & OG Parker (Migos, Summer Walker, Chris Brown, etc.)

While Queen Naija would likely do gospel music justice, she can continue to make R&B records as well.

My favorite thing about "Missing You" is the the section towards the end because of the powerful vocal performances from Queen Naija and Chandler with the choir helping round it out. This song also makes me nostalgic of when male and female vocalists would perform duets. These types of collaborations are rare nowadays.

To raise the song's impact, I'd recommend a visual, especially a live performance. What are your thoughts on the track and do you see a gospel release in Queen Naija's future?
