Top 7 Must-Listen New Bops

This is a continuation of some of the 7 recently or newly-released bops, which ranges from Keke Palmer to girl group KATSEYE. Which of these picks are your favorites and why? What other bop needs to make the list? Check out our next list below (in no particular order!)

Piece by Piece - Pharrell Williams

Producer (s): Pharrell Williams

Writer(s): Pharrell Williams

From the moment the beat comes on, it's just infectious and has those classic Pharrell melodies.

JUST LIKE THAT - Jessie Reyez featuring Ari Lennox

Producer(s): Bongo & B-Wiz

Writer(s): Jessie Reyez & Nyquest

What a pleasant duo! First of all, Ari doesn't miss on her features. Jessie has a good ear for music and I love that her energy in the video is reflective of how boppy this track is.

My Way - KATSEYE

Producer(s): “hitman” Bang, Slow Rabbit & Federico Vindver

Songwriter(s): “hitman” Bang, Slow Rabbit, Federico Vindver, Kiddo A.I., Ali Tamposi & John Byron

What I love about this song is that it reminds me of Fifth Harmony, who made plenty of bops and anthems during their time. I like when groups study what worked with their predecessors. This song embodies the kind of song a pop girl group needs in their catalogue.

TIME DOESN'T HEAL - Jordan Ariel

Producer(s): Mu’aath Fullenweider

New York artist Jordan Airel's single is a slower-tempo bop and sounds pretty and gritty at once. It stays with you.

My Presence is a Present - Coco Jones

Producer(s): Johnny Thomas Jr.

Writer(s): Coco Jones

If you are looking for new Christmas bops to add to your playlist, look no further! We had to include not one but two tracks from Coco Jones' EP, Coco by the Fireplace. Check out our full review here.

Santa Is Me - Coco Jones

Producer(s): Joshua Antwan Newkirk, Richard Wilkinson, Theevoni & DxnnyFxntom

Writer(s):

Ladies and gentlemen and in between, we now have a holiday anthem that promotes self-love. Rejoice singles! This is a solid opener and the production grabbed me from the moment it started, and the message made me appreciate it so much more. Coco and pop go as well together as her and R&B.

The Master - Keke Palmer

Producer(s): B Ham & Kenneth Paige

Writer(s): B Ham, Corey Cooper, Kenneth Paige & Keke Palmer

As we noted on suchabop!, Keke Palmer's catalogue is embedded with bops. She has one of the most underrated discographies, but that is another topic. We did a post about this that you can read at your leisure. Her new single "The Master," is no exception, which coincides with her new, New York Times bestseller, Master of Me.

breaking news - flowerovlov

Producer(s): Duck Blackwell

Writer(s): Duck Blackwell, Ines Dunn & flowerovlove

Just press play. This is pop gold.
